cheers mate it took more coats than i though tho being hammerite i though  two coats would cover but ended up with 3

finished my floor well apart from where the axle stands and jack is and where i found a bit more welding that needs doing

Looking great, alot of work doing that cannot remamber the time i spent on my back doing mine.

Looks great! I would've liked to have had my Uno body coloured underneath (or at least a red of some sort) but alas the floorpan had already been covered with a thick black underseal when I got the car :-(

Did you have much cleaning off of gunk/dirt or rust treatment to do before applying the Hammerite?

cheers mate rust no i was quite lucky only a few spots here and there but to start of with i had to spray it all over with degreaser and gave it a good wash with me jet wash twice where it looked like it had been leaking oil for years probably why the floor was free from rust and the arches looked like they had never been cleaned was about a inch thick with mud then wiped it all over with panel wipe to remove any slight residue

sorted out my rear beam today




also started sorting out me calipers run out of time so only done one so far

Looks great. I hate painting floors there somthing not fun about getting it out of your hair lol

hey m8 shes looking sweet what kind of paint did u use on the underside thats a good colour match

cheers mate was 3 coats of hammerite mate surprised it took that many coats but looks good was days of laying under the car tho was a bit of a pain to do

mega am goin for a few tins off that the morra looks defo worth the effort i hate that black tar crap

yeah there still on offer just checked £14.39 for 750ml thats the best price i could find when i got mine

nice 1 al need get some stone guard aswell as the welder likes to melt half the old shit off lol

yep i had to redo alot of mine before painting some of it likes to catch fire to when welding

done a bit more on me rear beam all new pipes and brakes just need to put handbrake cable and bushes on

as always m8 nice work ur uno well fefo be 1 of the best when finished how long do u think it will be till its ready foe the road
