Re: my mk1 reshell project
it looks really good mate, are you going to have enough room to spray it there.
i've sprayed a mk1 astra gte many years ago outside and it was a nightmare.
i ended up covering the concrete with water and it stopped all the dust coming up when spraying the lower part of the car, made a massive difference.

Re: my mk1 reshell project
that looks really good, so clean and shiny.
did you brush or spray the paint on under the arches and floor?
did you use the exact same paint as the car colour or just some hammerite?
i'm asking as it looks an exact match mate.
when i did a test area on the back of mine with hammerite it was no where near a match.

Re: my mk1 reshell project
cheers lads im having trouble with quotes it wont let me type outside the quote box
rich yeah feels good to see it getting some paint at last cant wait to do the rest and start getting it together hopefully wont be long now but depends on the weather
dean mate its just brushed on as wasnt bothered about the finish as its textured anyway from the stone chip i have done it with hammerite i thought it was a close enough match for under the car hope it still close when i have sprayed the rest of it if not i might blow it over with the gun if i have any paint left
