Brake option

So after scouring the web for a punto gt front setup and getting nowhere I began to think.
Has anyone experimented with using uno calliper on a different carrier so that Punto gt discs can be used? I should be able to get the carriers machined up easily enough.

punto gt brakes are easy to get hold of, they are the same as used on many other fiats and alfas, I got some before of a 1.6 16v auto fiat brava
