After a good 1300cc bottom end for a mk1 Uno turbo engine as the one i've just bought has rust on the cylinder bores.

Will check what i have got, its been sat around but covered. I'll let you know if its any good. Are your pistons good on this rusty block you got...?

Haven't stripped it down properly to see how they look, but they move ok.

Mines no better, the tarp has been letting in water so, needs as much spending on machining as yours....

If you hunt around, you can get the internals all balanced real cheap while your at it....Idea

Thanks, appreciate you looking. Was thinking of having the bottom end balanced while the engine is apart. It looks like someone had jet washed this engine with the throttle valve opened and water ran inside the bores killing it over time.
Might have to strip it down completely and bring it to Chris Applebee Engineering http://www.applebee.co.uk/ to see how costly it'll be to save it.
