Anti-skid Diagram
Anyone on here have a blown-up section of the workings of the anti-skid system on a mk1 Uno turbo.

The Uno Haynes manual, certainly the later orange version, has a picture of the anti-skid layout (page 300).

Re: Anti-skid Diagram
Well just seen this and all I can say is dont bother, it was rubbish even when it worked. I had one in 1995 and there were a number of problems with it:-
a) I think it only worked on the front wheels, so when it did work you had the very real possibility of doing an unexpected handbrake turn.
b) You needed herculean strength to be able to get the brakes to lock on anything but sheet ice
c) It only worked once per ignition turn on. By that I mean that if you got it to function on something like ice, the light would come on and it wouldnt work again until you restarted the car.
d) Honestly - it was shit!

Love the way some people seem to think that getting an Anti-skid model is the Holy Grail of Unos because of their rarity, and price them accordingly. It's not, because the system was primitive, rubbish and a liability. Avoid, or if you get one, bypass the system!
