It is blasphemous, that's why! Mk1's are mk1's, and mk2's are mk2's. Do not mess with evolution!

But what if i cant find a mk1 bumper?

Will it involve a beating or just a severe shunning?

i prefer the mk2 bumpers to be honest but then i'm a mk2 guy.
you could always fit a mk2 bumper un-till you find a good mk1 item but then they are probably just as hard to find.

Apart from the above, I'm not sure if it will line up with the wings and grill - are the MK2 bumpers taller to acomadate smaller headlights?

Mk1 rear bumpers are the same for all mk1 models. Everything from the base model 45 up to the Turbo had the same rear bumper, so there are still quite a few out there.

A funny thing

The car has been in storage at work for 6 months while I finished the x1/9 I put it on the trailer yesterday ready to bring home next week and, The front bumper on at the moment (which is damaged) is a standard uno mk2 looks like Im going to hell.

Na the MK2 turbo bumper is still available today

http://www.ebay.it/itm/PARAURTI-ANTERIORE-FIAT-UNO-TURBO-1989-BENZINA-DIESEL-/130850812205?pt=Ricambi_automobili&hash=item1e7750f12d

think there were some aftermarket ones available in the UK, but never seen any for MK1

Not sure if it would go on a MK1 - forgot before that the front tow eye is diferfent too.
