Mk1 HORMANN UNO TURBO ANTISKID

Hey Just been working recently past couple of days on my UNO going to start Working it properly alot in mind to do in the next few weeks:
* ORDERED STRUT BRACES FOR FRONT AND BACK OMP

* P40 AND P38 BODY FILLER UNDER ARCHES WITH RUST PROOF BLACK SPRAY

* GOT SOME DECAL AND ABARTH BADGES.

* CARBON VINYL FRONT BUTTOM BUMPER BECAUSE ITS CRACKING.. FILLER IT AND RATHER THEN SPRAYING THE WHOLE BUMPER PUT GREY CARBON VINYL ON THE BUTTOM

I think might do other things to my baby as well but alot going on so taking it slow will keep everyone updated i know some people might not like what I'm doing or what i done to my car but i guess everyone to there own.

Yeah looking good ,them anti skids sure have a few extra pipes under the bonnet.

Cheers fellas for the positive feedback and vern the car is a antiskid it has alot of pipes.. And rich aka gtirx2 the car has alot f pipes under the good I just ordered a battery cover for it to make it look good it's one of those thermal ones so apparently saves battery dieing lol I even hosed up in the car under passenger side and driver to hide all te wires the car is clean inside will take pics of Inside of it just waiting for next week I can crack on with the car hope this forum kicks off to a good start

Yeah those ABS versions are like spagetti in the bay, lol i was refering to your avatar when i said the "car i mean" looks like ya work out pal.

Yeah vern i try to work out bit just keeps me away from trouble and diverts my mind oh ontop its good for you. i got my own personal big gym in the house its all commerical equipment.

i also ordered head foil sheild for the engine bay as you guys can see the at the back the foil is torn and wool is all over the place.

NEED TO DO:

*VINYL FRONT BUMPER LIP
*ARCHES P40 38 AND WAXOYL SPRAY THEM

Cant think of anything else yet lol But any mod i can do please tell me...

Hey TURBO Heads back again been busy past couple of days aint been able to put a post. Had a day of today and some things came through the post .. my chrome(Metal) Badges came through so gave bit of clean to car and put them on. Then also had a big nasty crack on the buttom right hand lip of the bumper. I fillered it up and later on today going to sand it down and put vinyl on the bumper lip.

On checking the car i saw tiny bit of rust at both doors when you open them inside the buttom edges the slightest of rust. So will crack on with that also there is tinybit of rust around the bonnet latch when you raise the bonnet. sort that out to...

Just waiting for my Hammerite with waxyol to come through so can work on the arches and filler and sand them down with layer or hammerite making them look like new. the car has a undersill which is intact. Just need to clean buttom end of the car and shine up the exhaust pipe

Also waiting for the thermal battery cover which has not come through the post yet.

Well as waiting for aluminnum foil heat sheilds. so can replace the old tacky one at the engine bay.

Going to shine up the engine parts with aluminum cleaner so give the car bit more of a shine.

Running standard boost install turbo gauge and give tiny bit of extra boost

Hey guys sanded down the bumper lip today and added the vinyl first attempt never done it before but the front looks alot better now the to do list for the car keeps increasing now i also ordered cv joints and wish bones for the car ...

Looks good mate,covers up the scuff quite nicely.

I am with the others on the bonnet though,needs a standard one back on there.

Cheers rich its looking alot better I will keep this forum updated with the work I carry out and progress and as for the bonnet I will eventually change it when the car is fully done up :-)

Hey turbo heads I have had few of the stuff come through....
* Thermal battery cover
* Aluminium foil heat shield
* Hammerite with waxoyl
* Both strut braces
* Aluminium cleaner fluid

I will be working on the UT on Wednesday for two days get arches done engine clean put the heat shield on and strut braces as well
I will work on the door edges and bonnet hatch if I get sometime if not then in a couple of days when
Off again

Just waiting for the following to come through:
* CV joints
* Struts
* Wishbones

Please guys anyone know a nice set of cheap deep dish or euro rims I would be very grateful

Nice one That vinyl really makes a difference, it will be nice to see how this project evolves.

Hakydan i apprecieate the positive feedback.. And the front bumper lip had to be done because of the car being lowered it was hitting against the floor the corner had all chipped.

Tommorow a new day i will be working on the car like i said if i see anything else i should change or do i will obviously put it on the forum but so far as i mentioned i will work on with all the stuff i got to hand. When the other lot comes i will have to work on it another day.

Hey Turboheads i aint got much done today to be honest i have the thermal battery cover put on the rear strut brace and cleaned the engine up most of it little bit left. Its just finished from nights so slept througout and tmrws a new day will crack on it bright and early.. clean the rest of the engine up and work on the arches..

I also bought a new system for the car aint going to go crazy with the subwoofers and amps because it will weight the car more down. Just a nice set of rainbows and rainbow amp to run comp speakers.

It had a top of the range alpine in there oready but treated my self to somthing better lol

Hey guys was just working on my car got bored started searching for stuff i hope you lot remember these been looking for a while could not find a pair that fitted the car looks pretty smart in my eyes windows deflectors... So just ordered a pair

Hey turbo heads i spent a while on the car today i cleaned the arches up and put the wind deflectors on and put the heat shield on the back where you could see before all the wool was coming out. Also cleaned as much as i could the engine and even the little point spills over time gathered up..

Now i got to:
* Finish the arches as in filler,smooth and hammerite

* Do the doors where slight bit of surface rust is plus bonnet hatch area

* Waiting for the axel jacks to come through then get at the buttom sort the exhaust out because bit of rattling noise under handbrake where the bracket pushes the exhaust pipe down. (ANY HELP OR WHAT I SHOULD DO .... ?)

* Clean buttom end of the engine and pipes which can not get my hands to from the top lol

*Order new SPARCO front strut brace had to return the ohp front one..

*....... REST I DONT KNOW LOL
