Track day at 3 Sisters in Wigan

This may be a bit self indulgent but here are some photos of my track day last weekend at 3 Sisters in Wigan. Id be interested to know of any events in the North by the club that we could meet up and do this kind of thing together....












And I'll tell you what, half of the glue from the head lining is on the seats of the car:) There were so many people interested in the Uno too was a great day

Good time though and the uno didnt let me down!!

you can get the bumpers restored!

that painted mk1 ut bumper I offered you I took to a local bodyshop and they restored it to as good as new, even had the texture put back into it,

6:30am on 01/01/2015 Operation Mk 1 Bumper begins

I'd had 2 small glasses of wine to bring in the new year last night so that I could drive from Bolton to Kettering to pick up a Mk-1 Uno Turbo Bumper with fog lamps... I felt like effing Emily Bishop!

12 midday - Returned to Bolton with bumper, fog lamps, colour coded grill, and wheel arch liners - Expensive - but a winner.

Hello Rod-dude who did you do the track day with. Has im in Blackburn and the nearest track to me is Oulton park I would be intrested in doing a day at Wigan. Have you any more info or links to the site you booked the day with please. Deano

So, yes, Im up for a Oulton park razz, 3 sisters is a bit small, a bit narrow, and a bit lacking in run off zones. Im looking to go to Tatton Park next week 31/05/15... the Mrs hasnt been informed yet.... so if you fancy having a chat Im up for that. Ive been told Elvington is good or the track in Anglesey is great.

Thanks for getting back to me Rod. Where are you located bud. I have done Elvington and Anglesey but not in an Uno. Elvington is a good airfield with loads of run off and about an hour an half from me in Blackburn. I have my Uno running bob on now so i really need to get her on track. Keep intouch pal. Deano.

Im in Bolton, so not too far away. We should definitely go for the track day, even if its at the 3 Sisters again. I think mine will need "tuning" before I go again. Its not running badly, but I think it could be improved. Would be good to compare unos too!

If I see that Sam Bickerstaff post another date I'll ping it on here.

Cheers Rod im up for that. I took my Uno to a place in Blackburn ADE tuning there good they got 139 BHP out of my Uno. And fitted a stage one clutch. Keep us up to date pal. PM if you like. Dean
