Hi Everyone,
I'm part of the production team on the Channel 4 series 'For The Love Of Cars'.

I'm putting together a film about 80's Hot Hatches and would love to hear from any Fiat Turbo owners that are up for participating. I'm looking for people to share their passion and explain to our presenters what made their Hot Hatch so iconic.

Please get in touch on either 0207 067 4878 or robert.kelly@loveproductions.co.uk

Thanks!

Rob

Obviously if any of you guys contact this person do so with caution as it could be any tom, dick or gary.

Personally I would not call the uno turbo iconic really.

Its more of a cult classic that only people in the know really appreciate.

People mostly remember them for there extremely surprising pace that can keep up with cars of 10x there value,a true underdog.

I can see the program on TV at the moment, would have been great to have had an Uno on there

Only just seen this post so did not get in touch.  Agree, would have been great to have had one on the show.  Personally, I wrote in several times to that other show that does up ppls stalled projects and does a surprise at the end.  Goodness knows my 2 XR2's in the garage need it Crying or Very sad

I was in discussion with the producer about taking my Uno along, but with them only giving me a few day's notice and it being a 6 hour round trip I said no in the end. Having seen the program broadcast a couple of weeks ago I'm glad I didn't bother as it was tipping it down with rain and the 'other' 80's hot hatches had very little screen time.

Yeah agreed, I guess that they were after Fords / Golf... common fast hot hatches.
