Oil Pump Empty Oil Pump

Anyone know if the UT oil pump is the same the other Lampredi engined oil pumps? My 1500 engine is having a sump gasket change, and as the oil pressure light flickers when hot (if the engine revs drop close to stalling), I'm wondering if the UT pump might be an upgrade on the standard X19 pump. Anyone know?
