Re: Speedo cable mk2
MK1 top change cable will fit.
not sure if the bottom change cable innerd will go on - the thread at the gearbox end is different.
late MK2 Uno 45 top chnage box won't work as the gear box end is Q shaped. don't know about other gearbox types. All Unos are the same at the speedo end.
Has anyone tried a tippo cable? the uno top change box is the tippo type

Re: Speedo cable mk2
The fiat part number is 7736869, http://www.italianspecialist.com have found one in Italy gona cost near on £60
The Uno mk2 inner cable is about 142 cm long with a square section formed into the cable both ends, so any square ended cable will do if its the right dimension? anyone got a similar sized inner from an other car they could measure the length off?
When measuring mine i noticed there was still about 5mm of square section left on the broken end, so i've pulled the plastic end piece off the speedo end stuck it on the short end and put the other long end into the gearbox and shortened the outer cable by 2cm - job done

Re: Speedo cable mk2
Nice solution. Does a Punto cable fit? (not completely sure on Punto specification).
This company might be worth a shot, they don't explicitly state Uno in the list but something else might fit.
