My Alfa 156 Veloce Sportswagon 65,000 miles £1600 Empty My Alfa 156 Veloce Sportswagon 65,000 miles £1600

Alfa Romeo 156 Veloce( top of the range) Sportswagon 1.8 Twin Spark, 2002, 65,000 miles, 3 previous owners, electric windows, power steering, climate control, ABS, asr, 11 months Mot and Tax till end of April 2014. The last owner bought this car in 2006 from Veloce's of London with 16,000 miles on the clock, the car was then used for school runs and the family holidays trips to the south of France hence the low mileage.
Since buying this car i have fitted many new parts including New Gates timing belt kit and puleys, New water pump, New Camshaft variator, New auxillary belt and tensioner pulley, New BMC HI-FLOW replacement air filter,New spark plugs,New battery , New Oil and Filter and that's just on the engine. I drained and replaced the gearbox oil too.
I have also fitted Eibach 30mm lowering springs & 2 new rear KYB Nitrogen rear dampers so now the car sits level and rides very nicely on fresh suspension. Ride is comfortable and softer than M-tec or S-line suspension. I have also bought a pair of OMP strutbraces but i have only fitted the front brace as that was all i felt was needed. Rear OMP strutbrace is in with the sale.
This car was pampered by the last owner and by me too and it shows as it's a very nice car to drive and feels tight ,plus everything works which is rare on a Alfa.
The other reason i bought this car is it comes with a Ultra rare upgraded Leather Recaro interior that is only available on the later Ti models. These seats are far superior to the standard Alfa leather interior and finish the car nicely.
It will Not need another cambelt change till another 36k (or at 100,000 miles)
Sadly it has some light scratches and car park dinks as with all 156's, also has a light dent on the rear panel just under the rear light..

I have spent close to £600 in parts alone improving this car back to what it should be and have the bills to prove!! This car has to go to someone who'll look after it as i have, there aren't many good, solid, low mileage first gen 156 Sportswagon's left.
