shorter springs and shocks?
I think Lewey or dunc has a mod to take some other kind of rear spring.

All the research ive done suggests that 60mm is the lowest I can get??

Take a bottom coil out, some will frown blah blah blah but it's the only way, I've usually done this and never had a problem after.
What springs are u running? Do u have a pic of the rear?

coilovers should allow you to go lower i think but you would probably have to remove the bump stops or cut them down tho or it will prob just sit on them and not drop anymore

How far of the bumpstops at the back are you with the -60mm's,i tryed some on the back of mine when it was stil 999cc 45 and i had about 1cm clearence off the bumpstops!?
Re: Get my arse lower
i have a set of cut ones in the garage for the back that i was given with a few other parts they are a bit rusty but if u want them u can have them all u have to do is pay the postage save u cutting up good springs if u want

Ive just measured it Rich and its got around 21/2cm off the bumps and 21/2 inchs between the top of the tyre and the arch.
I havent driven it yet so does the myth that springs settle really exist?

Yeah i would give it a chance to settle and see what it does first, mine was certainly closer to a 1cm.
I think but tbh could not gurentee they were 60's although i think 60's are pretty much the lowest you can get, mine with weight in the back would of been on the bump stops lol
Whats it like on the 60s at the front, must be pretty low i would of though depending on wheel tyre size,i am happy on spax i think 45's and 195/45/14s, any lower and i will lose my intercooler around here

Well thats exactly it Rich, its not that low at the front:( But as ive said, ive not driven it anywhere yet, just fitted the springs and shocks and put the wheels on.
