my mk2 is going to be on ebay today
sorry guy's but may be leaving the uno fold if this sells.
don't really want to but there are so many reasons why i should, the only one for keeping is sentimental reasons.
having 3 cars to keep on the road and a house that needs loads of money to do up, something has to give really. i know the mrs won't get rid of her car and we need the big car for the 3 kids so i'm left with no alternative but for me to give in again and sell this car.
you all know this car so you know how nice it is.
i am sticking pics on ebay but i have lots more of floor etc etc
i'm not sure what price to put it up for but i've spent a fortune on this as did Ant.
i'm hoping because of the price they seam to be fetching i could get around £3k mark-ish
i know i should be keeping hold of this but i'm constantly looking for somewhere to store it and i can't see the point in insuring it if i'm not going to be using it much, seams silly.

i can't believe the amount of interest the old girl is getting, it seams people still love these little cars.
i'm thinking about cashing an issa in instead of selling her now.
i'm really sorry if i'm messing potential buyers about.

Re: my mk2 is going to be on ebay today
cheers guys
yup going to pull the advert off, going to leave it till tomorrow as i've had several people with uno turbo's or wanting UT's or just needing parts contact me.
i've directed all here.
what i have found out about uno turbo's now is that nearly everyone i spoke to that was genuinely interested wants a bog standard UT, no mods at all not even the wheels.
so i guess if you want top money it really has to exactly as it left the factory.
i even had one guy say do i still have the original stereo...

Ive been harping on at this for ages.
I think there are plenty of buyers out there would pay double what you are asking, if it is matching numbers, low mileage below 70k,and standard and in good condition.
An original paint, garaged very low mileage minter in the right colour, I would say 10k if you could find one.Wait 10 years and you will be kicking yourself.
A little tale:
I has a very nice 69 dodge charger back in 1991. I brought it for £2000.
I sold it a year latter for £2300.It sold for £20k 5 years latter and would now be worth around 50k.
If I had a barn ,I would hoover up all the £500 Uno turbo scrappers off ebay and stick them in it for a decade.

i have to Andy, i scrapped a strada abarth many years ago (well it wasn't actually mine but i drove it to the breakers yard)
it drove lovely but the chassis was rotten, think we got £25 for it and now they are worth silly amounts.

I scrapped loads of mk1 capris, mk1 escorts, mk 1 granadas and many other cars I would dearly love to have now.I have a small fiat graveyard and am loathed to weigh in stuff that will be highly sought after in a couple of years.
Probably be the barn find subjects of lost and found in a few decades.
