New Owner
In case you were wondering https://fiatunoturboowners.forumotion.co.uk/t337p10-mk1-in-scotland I bought it. I think I overpaid, and make wish I'd waited a couple of extra days for the one in Romford at £2,800. But I bought it, and ironically I have the exact same model (antiskid) in the same colour in 1995 and I think I paid the same price for it then!!
I started my Uno affair with:-
Black 60S in 1989 on a C plate
Gun Metal Grey Uno Turbo 1991 on a C plate
Metal Blue Uno Turbo Anti Skid 1995 on a G Plate
Metal Blue Uno Turbo Anti Skid 2013 on a G Plate
Got some work to do on this one but slowly slowly does it. I have a good basis to get moving and it makes me smile to drive it so, I'll post on my progress. Here are the faults so far:-
Remove old immobiliser
Fit new immobiliser for insurance
Replace Ill fitting front bumper
Fit and wire Front Fog lamps
Binding Front Near side brake caliper (fixed)
3 Slow punctures (fixed)
1 hunchback of notredamme tyre (fixed)
Terrible idle speed (fixed)
Sticky Throttle cable
Boost gauge not working (fixed)
Passenger seat doesn't move
Rear squirter doesnt work
Ridiculous back box on the exhaust
Boot lid mechanism broke so remote pull doesnt work.
Passenger door and boot lid locks no key
Sticky Clutch cable
Drivers door dropped hinge.
Bonnet rusting on inside
Good service
rear seat needs sorting
Refurbish the original steering wheel
Replace the stupid Momo Steering wheel size of 10p piece with original
Look at sloppy gear linkages
Rear door cards need replacing
Other than that it drives great - and you get the old turbo spool up sound that never fails to bring a smile to my face and the horns out of my head:

Re: New Owner
I took your advice Charlie - nice to find some like minded individuals:)
@st1allstar - I'll do that, I also have some aspirational goals for the car too
1) Get rid of squeeks in dashboard
2) Eliminate general rattles around the car
What do you think of my chances?

Re: New Owner
Welcome! Good luck trying to get rid of and Fiat squeaks, i was told there was a big mouse problem around the factory where the uno's were built
I've got a Momo steering wheel on my uno and it needs changing as i can't see the speedo between 20mph and 110mph

Re: New Owner
Welcome to the forum and back into Uno T ownership :-) Sounds like you've got the basis of a great mk1 there! Looking forward to reading your project thread when you get going :-)
