This is utterly gorgeous on those polished rims, will for for big money no doubt looking at the bidding!
I want it badly, knew a previous owner of this car Brad from Tonbridge but looks even tidier now!

Anyone who is serious about bidding on this car pm me in private if you want to know what was done to it.
It was solid on the floors, front & rear turrets but was rotten in other area's.
I can let you exactly what your buying.

Brad pm'd me asking if i wanted to sell it back to him when i'd finished it. At the time i wanted another 130TC so i let it go. I won't be making that mistake with this uno

Both of you but more Doody. Brad bought it before i put it up for sale, i was going to put it on the old TC site but i e-mailed Brad first as he asked about it a few times & knew the car. It was his old car so i thought it was only right to give him first refusal.

that be why i missed it then still i'd of probably done the same, i've always loved the strada 130tc but then i've always wanted a 131 mirafiori sport (well think it was the sport) lol

Uno Turbo is a better all round car, easier to live with & faster when tuned than a 130tc.
I can't wait to see how much this goes for, i sold it for £2500 95% finished

Re: stunning mk1 on ebay
Chassis number?
They always rot around there,or thats the excuse, but no they do rot there
My white car was only just savagable so i cut it off and taked it back on elsewhere, the grey parts car i had the number had disintegrated.
You never now with these cars though what could have happened to them in the past, could be a ringer from decades back and you would not be able to tell.
I am not saying it is though lol just the fact that there is not much to swap really to clone one of these, that stamped number and a plate on the front i think.
Maybe there are a few other things different in the shells but i would have to think hard about it,most proberly just a few mounting holes/studs and grommets, and the side skirt mounting holes in the sills if they where still original.
It is no dout a stunning car though, but if i had or was going to spend top money on a original uno turbo i would want the chassis number intact really, or at least still with the car but that still would not mean its genuine lol.
Thats even if you was refering to the chassis number

Re: stunning mk1 on ebay
LOL na - I was referring to the engine mount.
Should the centre nut be under the mount, with the bolt going in from the top, or have I put mine in upside down.

Re: stunning mk1 on ebay
Chassis numbers are there but the painter covered it in a few lairs of paint,as he did with the drivers seat & head rest as seen in one of the Ebay pics.

Re: stunning mk1 on ebay
I did all that, but my engine mount was in upside down when I got it
So made a bit of a mess - split the inner wing.
Troy welded us a plate in there

Re: stunning mk1 on ebay
Great looking Uno on the outside but the engine bay needs bringing up to the same standard to do it justice. Some things I noticed on the pics:
1. Standard airbox pipework is there but where's the airbox?!
2. One fuel line clip is missing where it's held on the top of the bulkhead.
3. There are no jubilee clips on the pipes either side of the afm?!
4. The injector wiring loom ducks under the afm instead of running across the top and clipping into the cable clip on top of the afm bracket.
OK, *maybe* I looked at the pics too long
