Radio Cassette
Looking for original radio from the 80's. Anyone know what they come out the dealers with in 1986?

Re: Radio Cassette
Most were Blaupunkt, later Fiats in general had Grundigs fitted.
Just removed the original radio/ cassette from my new car, with a superior CD player
If it helps Cha, i can get a model number and picture from a friend who has the original Blaupunkt in his 1990 Mk1, if you want to try and source one near to the same period...?

Re: Radio Cassette
I would never of guessed Blaupunkt, thought they were in all the German cars of that period. Sparkomatic I have seen, but probably in earlier Fiats
A picture would be great Paul.

Re: Radio Cassette
I believe earlier Unos (Mk1's) had Sparkomatic radio cassette units fitted - some of the Fiat sales leaflets show this make of head unit in the interior pictures. My 1986 45S had a Sparkomatic unit fitted when I bought it in 2003 (I assume it was fitted from new, I can't be sure). Mk2 Unos (and possibly late mk1's) had Blaupunkt units. I still have one sitting on a shelf, from a mk2 70SX I broke for spares a few years back.

Re: Radio Cassette
Think my 1986 MK1 Uno 45 Formula came with just a blanking plate when my Gran got it new
And that's the way it stayed Until she sold it.
