Hello - Newbie with mk1 UT

Hi everyone i found this forum through facebook turbocollectives and thaught i'd come and say hi

i am looking for previouse history on my recently purchased ut mk1 E692 glf

if anyone has any photos or previouse details or anything let me know

when i purchased the car in February the car had no roof lining, the clutch was slipping and it was sitting on ebay lowering shocks and springs which rattle the frik out of the car, so now we have om shocks and jamax? i think thats the name lol 30mm lowering springs

also picked up a immaculate roof lining the other day which is original ut roof lining with sunroof,, i know very rare in such mint condition,

also got myself a 4 inch scorpion exhaust system original old school type,

also fitting a new clutch tomorrow taking my time while doing it ect cleaning up the gearbox casing ect as its not very often you can get access to these areas except times like this

Nice uno I went to look at this when it was for sale you got a lovely car there.

Cheers dudes I will be sticking around . I'm putting new clutch in I have been advised to use comma hd40 I go to a lot of cruises so u should see it about. I'm keeping mods shuttle next to no mods just mint clean and tidy. When I see it on eBay I didn't mess about. This car is absolutely mint . when I was taking gearbox off I was look round and it really I mi t. I was expecting to have to dome something like underseal or weld or something but its solid completely solid..... Solo lucky as I didn't check it properly only now I know what a gem I've stumbled on. Luck has been with me lol

Here's a few the day after i bought it and before i stripped it down.
Don't be fooled by the photo's, the car was in a bad way. I cut every piece of rust out of it and replaced with clean fresh metal.

thats what i call a good UT lolol what you done has lasted and is perfectly fine to this day mate ive checked it all, few lil bits that need attention but fuck all for the age. i love it more now i seen them pics cheers dude

It's a genuine solid low mileage car. I didn't need to touch the front or rear suspension turrets or the underneath of the car which is very rare for a Uno. I was going to keep it so it was done properly.
Is the car in Essex now?
